ARTICLE 473 CRIMINAL CODE

(1) Whoever, knowing of the existence of the industrial property title, counterfeits or alters trademarks (2) or distinctive signs, national or foreign, of industrial products, or whoever, without being involved in counterfeiting or alteration, makes use of such counterfeit or altered trademarks or signs, is punished with imprisonment from six months to three years and with a fine of between 2,500 and 25,000 euros.
